Park Resorts Whitley Bay Holiday Park
The site is beautiful, overlooking the sea and St
Mary's Lighthouse Nature Reserve and causeway. The available
on-site facilities are provided by Park Resorts which include Indoor
Pool, amusement arcade, restaurant serving snacks and meals, full
entertainment programme with a small shop and launderette for daily
needs. Passes can be purchased at the Park Office.
It is a 5 minute walk to the beaches and
causeway with its irresistible rock pools! Nearby there is a
pitch and putt course, a 'Waves' Leisure Pool and Blue Reef
Aquarium. Then there is Cullercoats, Tynemouth with its famous
station markets, Priory and Castle. North Shields Fish Quay,
famous for the freshest Fish & Chips and, of course, Whitley Bay
itself with its shops and famous night life!
The site is on a main Bus Route and the Metro
is nearby giving access to Newcastle/Gateshead City Centres,
cultural activities. Museums, The Sage, Baltic and Quayside
venues. Shopping includes Eldon Square and The Metro Centre
(One of Europe's largest indoor shopping centres). If that is
not enough, a visit to South Tyneside, with its Funfair, market
and last, but by no means least, 'The Angel of the North'.
